Give packet gravy a flavour boost
- Mix gravy powder to a smooth paste with a little cold water before adding required liquid.
- Use half water and half red or white wine to make up the required amount of liquid. Add pan juices from the roasting tin.
- Packet gravy tends to be low in fat but high in salt, so take care not to add extra salt. For extra flavour, season with a splash of soy sauce and freshly ground pepper.
