Pigeon Hole Station is a standalone operation within the famed Victoria River Downs, approximately 400 kilometres south of Katherine. Pigeon Hole itself covers about 1,500 km2 and runs 8,000 breeders with a total herd of up to 22,000 head.
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, the successful applicants will have previous experience in a similar role with an emphasis on business management, good communication skills, and the ability to lead a team where high standards in OH&S are valued. A sound knowledge is required of herd fertility, animal husbandry and asset management combined with an understanding of grazing systems that are beneficial to rangeland conditions.
