Curtin Springs is looking for an experienced and skilled station hand to work with us.
We are a family owned and operated, diversified pastoral and tourism business in Central Australia and are looking for someone to join our team with a range of complimentary skills so that we can all achieve great outcomes.
The Station Hand position requires experience in mechanical support, fencing, infrastructure and general maintenance, fabrication and cattle work.
We expect all members of our team to be highly self motivated with a high level attention to detail.
Having a high level understanding of your roles and responsibilities in working within the various legislation and compliance structures and following our policies and procedures is vital for the position.
Our production system works with water trapping for mustering, so we don’t use horses or motorbikes.
Our priorities over the next several months are for fencing, general maintenance, yard fabrication and if there is rain and green grass then cattle work will also feature.
As a diversified business, all staff work across all areas of the business, as the needs of the business dictate.
Single, double or 2 bedroom family accommodation available.
We currently have children undertaking School of the Air education onsite.
There can be the opportunity for employment for a partner on the tourist side of our business based on skills, experience and current vacancies.
We work under an Enterprise Agreement and payrates are negotiable after skills, approach, attitude and consistency have been proven.
